the team has been created in september and we already have one proud partner: the holland Inn hotel in wolvega. thanks Peet for helping help to reach our dream.

during training camp the team stay in Holland Inn. the place is perfect for skater cause it s close to Thialf, and the room are really confortable (separate bedroom, kitchen etc) . it's also cool to bike around. that's really quite place so it fit perfectly with the rest needed for top sport.

Pascal Briand also came from inline skating, 8 times world champion sprint (500m 1000m), he swiched to ice skating 3 years ago with a combination between marathon skating and long track. after 1 victory and few podium on marathon he now focus 100% on long track to achieve his personal goal in Vancouver 2010.

- journalist: why did you start long track?

- Pascal: "after 22 years on inline, and many cool victories i needed a new challenge, Vancouver 2010 was perfect for me, only 1 chance to make good at olympic ... i didn't wanted to miss this change.... other inline skater switch with success so it give some idea..."

- journalist: how did you discover TEW? can you tell more about it?

- Pascal: " when i start ice, i arrive in netherland, after 1 year, i meet Yves Van Assche the owner of TEW wellness concept... i clearly understand that his idea and way to think could be so usefull for sport... i wanted to know more and see how this can make me faster... now after 1 years and half of work i see my time get better and better every week end, my body is in balance, and i m now making very cool progress...in sport and in life..."

- journalist: team spirit is key point to success for you...can you tell something about it?

- Pascal: " i skate in pro team saab salomon and also for powerslide.... always team spirit was important to create victory... i like when team member are focus 100% on goal (personal and team) with a happy way to be.... skaters and management from TEW skating team are really serious, really profesional , but also we have really lot of fun... we enjoy every moment and we smile always... that 's how i see sport....it s competition but you have to enjoy it...so that's part of our vision form the team spirit from TEW team."

Roger Schneider is a small 2m high skater coming from inline skating, number one swiss skater, european champion marathon 2003. he start ice marathon last year with a dutch team and get many good result (podium, and top 10). this year he decide to focus on long track to prepare olympic games 2010 in vancouver.

here is his personal best after las t than 1 year on LT:

- 500m: 38.8sec

- 1000m: 1m14.20

- 1500m: 1m 48.86

- 3000m: 3m48.8

- 5000m: 6m21.69
